The Delicious Jams & Jellies from Grayson

Barbara Hinkle, the Director of the Grayson Arts & History Center, always makes sure that the shelves in the kitchen at the center are full of her home-made jams & jellies. What is your favorite? Peach, Strawberry, Blueberry, Fig, Pear...the list is endless and she's always creating something new! If you are looking for the perfect gift for the Holidays, drop by and pick out your jams & jellies. Barbara will make you a beautiful gift basket! It could even contain the "From Trip to Grayson" cookbook which contains some of her jelly recipes as well as hundreds of others. She might even sign the cookbook for you, after all, she is the creator and collector of recipes for it.

Barbara is not the only "Jelly Chef" in the family. Her husband, Grayson Mayor Jim Hinkle, has been making "The Mayor's Famous Pepper Jelly" for YEARS! It is a "must have" at Holiday parties and other get-togethers. You take a cracker, spread it with cream cheese, top with the delicious pepper jelly (either mild green or hot red) and sprinkle walnut pieces on the top. Oh, YUM!

(A special note: All proceeds from sales of Barbara and Jim's jellies are donated to the Grayson Arts & History Center.)
